REVITALISE YOUR WORLD WITH COLOUR

Kristine Ballard is a Sydney-based artist specialising in expressive paint and sumptuous colour.

When the days feel a little grey and broken, Ballard uses her unique painting style called ‘Fragmatism’, to rebuild a world where you can reclaim the colour back into your own life.

Ballard draws her inspiration from everday subjects and locations. With a focus on still life, interiors, and landscapes she transforms her encounters into joyful compositions that glow from within.

“There are forces around us all that will try and take the colour from your life and fragment your positivity. But that’s why it’s so important to paint these works. They are my stand for keeping the bright, the light in the world.’’
Kristine Ballard
INVESTIGATING THE EXTERIOR

Raised in a “land girt by sea,” Ballard infuses her landscapes and seascapes with the colour, light, and vitality of the environments she explores. Through the signature style she calls ‘Fragmatism’, she reimagines the terrain shaped by cliff hangers and softly dissolving horizons.

EXPLORING THE INTERIOR

Welcome to the theatre of the interior. Where still life and interiors take centre stage. Where ordinary objects are transformed into dazzling actors of light and motion. Where the often-overlooked is given a second chance to shine, and intrigue and drama plays out under the spotlight.

“Thank you so much for the absolutely beautiful painting! I immediately recognised the Fragmatism. The motif got me straight away! It really spoke to me so I was amazed to see the fantastic picture on the wall. Rudi and Mel were so happy to see my reaction and I couldn’t stop crying! I loved the video message about the process too. Just perfect. ‘Sunshine for Breakfast’ is now hanging on our lounge room wall – in the perfect spot, so that I can always look at it from my seat. I can’t believe I am the lucky owner of two ‘Ballards’ now. ’’ Nancy K
